Cleaning out window sealant December 16, 2025, 03:36:02 pm As I inspect my window seals on my 2021 I'm wondering if I can clean them up really good, tape them off, and use some 3M 5200 fast cure to go over the top of the existing seals? They aren't in horrible shape and I'm just wondering if "reskining" what's there after I clean thoroughly would be helpful?If I was to remove the seal I did some searches on window sealing on this website but I could not find the techniques people use to remove the old sealant. I'm thinking a Dremel type tool would work but I'm not sure what kind of cut fitting to use.
