Luan wall board
Does anyone know of a source for the luan wall board, or any other ideas? Thanks in advance!

Home Deopt, Lowes, other big box stores, online sources...  The Luan that I know isn't visible in most coaches, but is covered by a type of vinyl that I'll call 'plastic wall paper'.  A white wrinkled surface on walls and ceiling, woodgrain looking plastic darker up until 2001, lighter woodgrain from 2002 up. The ceilings and walls from about 2006 were a darker tone of patterned 'looks like autumn leaves to me' plastic film.
So I know your 2000 model well. Craig P has extensive pictures of back wall repair.
The 'other ideas' could cover a lot of options.  Some people have painted over the plastic with varying results. Hard to use primer paint is needed to make that work.  Pictures of what you are working with are a good thing. Most of us here have done some type of changes or repairs.    RonB

edit: sorry I missed your first post about back wall repair.

Hi Mikeyacbo;  Before you pull that window off, you really need two people. Many window repair people won't work on Lazy Dazes because they expect it to be easier. Poor quality repair people often tear the paint, and sometimes the aluminum off of the window surround.
I've never taken a window out of my LD (yet and Hope I don't have to...)  Take the screws out of the mounting ring inside. be prepared for the window to fall out. Second person to catch it on the outside. I believe that there is just a sticky butyl grey rubber sealant holding it. If that sealant has dried out, (allowing water to penetrate) the window could suddenly release.
My first motorhome (not a Lazy Daze) had the back window installed upside down from the factory, and the weep holes for drainage actually directed water into the back wall, and rotted the wood structure badly in just nine years. Extensive repairs ensued inside necessitating new vinyl wall paper inside. I picked a complimentary color/pattern to what had been there, to match other parts of the wall paper in the kitchen area.
I use slightly thicker 5mm? underlayment now for repairs. Good wood grain and surface on one side, inexpensive and available in 4'x8' sheets. (Home Depot I think).
Craig P had a great collection of pics, and info on a one piece window for the back wall, dual thermal pane.  Finding the Dry rot     (the vendor link still works.)   RonB

Finding the correct color and texture paneling may be difficult, many use whatever they can find and then paint the paneling to match.
A 25 year old LD will probably have discolored or darkened paneling, assuming the rig has been used extensively.
Painting the surrounding area the same color will help blend the new paneling to the old.

Hi Larry, The 2000 MB that Mikey has is the same as most of my '99 that was partly built in late '99.  So the inside walls and ceiling is that 'wrinkled' white vinyl covering. I've never seen that anywhere else. The kitchen and bathroom wall covering is a little off white with pinkish flowers. Smooth surface.  The wood finish, supposed to match oak, is actually Wilsonart Nepal Teak.  Teak is much the same color in real life, but the grain pattern is less distinct.
This is the link to Wilsonart:  Laminate - Nepal Teak - 7209    They do have a solid 'polar white' that Lazy Daze used for the T/K flip up TV table.  You could cover the entire back wall with a smooth sheet of white high pressure laminate.   RonB

Wilsonart gets my vote. That stuff is tough. Both my Airstreams have had all their cabinetry covered with Wilsonart laminate, and I've purchased matching rolls of it to cover drawers and table leaves that I added.

Laminate is tough stuff but it needs to be glued to a plywood underlayment to provide structural strength.
The rest of the existing paneling is thin, 1/8" thick plywood with a plastic coating that simulates woodgrain.
To save money and not to increase the workload, I would use paneling, painting it to match the existing walls. YMMV
You will never perfectly match the existing woodwork but it can be blended in only you know where the damage was.
