Fantastic fan replacement thermostat September 03, 2025, 04:12:22 pm We have a 2000 Lazy Daze. The Fantastic Fan quit because the thermostat is not working. I can’t seem to find a replacement. Any one know where I can get one or does any one have a working one for sale? Photos of the item added.
Re: Fantastic fan replacement thermostat Reply #1 – September 03, 2025, 04:37:31 pm A quick search shows the old Fantastic Fan's thermostat is obsolete and no longer available. The thermostat can be jumpered, bypassing it, and controlling the fan manually.Connect together the two thermostat wires to accomplish this.Larry. 2 Likes

I troubleshot it and decided to bypass every thing except the directional switch and speed control. I didn't see myself wanting a thermostat or automatic opening/closing feature. I did install the max flow covers to keep the rain out.

I did install the max flow covers to keep the rain out. Both of our Fantastic Fans' thermostats have been set on the lowest temperature setting for their entire lives; bypassing the thermostat would have no practical impact on their use.I unplug the rain sensors too, no more annoying closures when taking a shower on a rainy or humid day. Both of the vents have covers.LarryLarry 1 Likes
