Walmart for mechanical parts?
Sunday I decided it was time to replace my leaky Monroe steering damper before an upcoming trip, so I found the right Bilstein number and headed to Amazon, for a quick turnaround. The part at Amazon would take 5 days free on Prime, or 3 days for an extra $85 shipping. I checked at Walmart - where I have sourced a few items in the past, and the same part for the same price would ship free in two days! And, all I have with them is a free account! Ordered, and just finished the swap-out.

Seems other sources are taking advantage of Amazon's reduced Prime benefits these days...

Agree.  We needed a new Icon air conditioner shroud for our coach (not a LD).  Walmart (and Home Depot!) both had the lowest price; Wally had 2 day delivery and Homey was 3 days.  Amazon was "sometime in a couple of weeks", and not the lowest price.

Using Google to compare prices is the easiest way to comparison shop.
Amazon often has the best price, but not always. Amazon's delivery times, IMO, seem to be slower than they once were.
Walmart almost always has the best prices on lubricants and oil filters, with free delivery.

I have had bad luck with both Walmart and Home Depot for RV stuff. From Home Depot I ordered an expensive convection microwave for a previous rig. It took three units to get one that was not damaged. From Walmart I ordered an Atwood 15K air conditioner. You should have seen that thing when it arrived at the house. It looked like it had been run over by a truck. Probably just bad luck but I prefer Amazon or the manufacturer if possible.
