Fiamma Awning End Cap Replacement - When Old is Too Old... July 02, 2025, 09:14:06 pm I'm trying to escape the desert southwest for the summer and every day I'm closer to my goal. I've had all my routine check-ups, lovely Luna has had her yearly check-up, and I just got my RV back today from it's yearly check (new rear brakes, new shocks, new radiator hoses, etc... I still have to take it to the local muffler place (the same one that replaced my stolen catalytic converter) for a replacement exhaust pipe for my generator. However, the "bane of my existence" has been trying to replace the ugly, weathered end cap parts to my Fiamma awning (that I never use). Thanks to Octavio at Fiamma USA in Florida I found the exact parts I needed. The problem is they are no longer manufactured by Fiamma. Therefore, I tried a couple of alternative I found online (Panther RV Products and PopTop World) but no one stocks these ancient parts any longer. These are the part numbers I need for my Fiamma F45 plus L awning: RH Outer End Cap is 02520-01, and the part # for the LH Inner End Cap is 98655-956 with an attachable cover for it being # 98655-178.At least I did some good detective work... Any suggestions? 2 Likes

Reply #1 – July 03, 2025, 09:28:36 am Hi Cheryl; With your '98, I also have both front and back covers, disintegrated and gone on my '99. Hopefully other parts are still available, such as the crank loop, and shock absorbers. Sounds like a good opportunity for someone with a 3D printer to duplicate the parts we need. I would like it to be of a more durable material too. Aluminum would be good. Those plastic 'weep hole' covers that many people have on the non double thermal pane windows, (pre 2003) are another candidate for that type of printer. RonB 2 Likes
