Black Tank
Time to resurrect the old black tank cleaning issue. Almost as controversial as tire pressure!  :D

Anyhow, I dropped the black tank a couple of days ago and took a look inside. I've had this rig for about three years and never rinsed the tank nor added any chemicals. Just dumped, poured in some water and a little Calgon & Dawn. Clean as a whistle.
Check it out!

The gray tank can build more deposits on the inside walls of the tank. The black tank is prone to building pyramids directly under the toilet.

The one black tank I dropped had its vent pipe punched in after the roof vent was hit by a falling tree branch. I had to cut the toilet flange off to get it out. The top of the tank was badly cracked and required a bit of repair work.
