RV Maintenance Made Easy: My Discovery for Budget-Friendly Service
After moving to Florida, I found myself constantly searching for a reliable and affordable place to handle basic maintenance on my 30IB Lazy Daze RV. To my surprise, Valvoline service centers were able to accommodate the size of my rig and offered significantly more reasonable pricing. An oil change, including a new pan plug, cost just $41—compared to the $364 I previously paid at an RV center. I brought my own Motorcraft oil and filter this time, not knowing what to expect, but after comparing the quality of Valvoline’s filter, I feel confident using their products going forward. They also offer radiator service for $189, as well as transmission flush and fill services, and many other flush and fills needed, all using trusted Valvoline products. Even their Zerex G05 coolant is a solid replacement for the Ford yellow coolant, giving me peace of mind and a dependable option for future maintenance.

Glenne,

You mentioned “Transmission Flush” and I cringed. My trusted mechanic warns against the ‘flush’ of any transmission.

Flushing can dislodge small particulate and lodge in the capillary of the transmission thereby clogging the flow and causing slippage and shifting issues.

Many here may agree that a simple drain of fluids and a filter change is best.

Just sayin’

This is also my experience; in addition, they routinely mail me a coupons for$10 to $15, good for the motorhome, Camry, and Sienna Van. Once, they tried to talk me out of an oil change on my van, due to the low mileage since the last change, but since it'd been a year, I insisted on the change. I'm not sure who was right.
