What's New?
Hi all -- Rshine here.  We have been unfortunately very distracted over the past 18 months or so by a series of family situations involving extended elder care, contested estate settlements, and other matters that consumed a LOT of time and attention.  I'm sure many of you understand the demands such things require.

Now, most things have settled out and we are happy to dust off our rear-bath 2017 LD and start hitting the road once again.  Number one question I have is wondering if any guardian angel or other entity has stepped in to fill the vacancy left when LD closed shop?  I mean, have any other makers or maintenance folks drawn the loyalty and business of you other LD owners?

Oh, and thank God that this forum is still active.  I am very grateful to all of you who participate here, especially the various moderators.  Thank you all.

The best option for repairs for your LD would be Leisure Cochworks in Fortana. Vince, the former manager at LD, works there and knows how to work on LDs. Beyond that, you are on your own repair-wise.

Welcome back Ray, especially a fellow 2017 owner from the great northern half of California.

There are a few legacy LD employees working elsewhere in the Southern California, like Vince mentioned above, but otherwise we’re kinda on our own for LD specific parts.

If/when simple end cap repairs aren’t enough, I’ll likely buy a 3D printer and fabricate an end cap.

Thank you both for the recommendations.  Yes, I remember Vince.  I wonder how Todd is fairing these days.  I actually don't need any maintenance at the moment.  I have tried to stay on top of things despite the extended storage.

That's also a good idea about the #D printer.  I know a couple of guys who have one.  Not there yet though.

Just ordered via email and received a set (4), of fender skirt knobs from him.  Now I have a few spares, just in case.

Easy-peasy.  Nice that he’s available to help out knowing exactly what is needed and what will work being the consummate Lazy Daze supplier!
