Propane Extend-A-Stay
Question:  Can you tell by the photo if it looks like I have an Extend-A-Stay installed?

I'm sorry if this seems like an idiot question (and the included photo dirty).
A few years ago I had an RV tech in Las Cruces ( I think  because i have an attachment hose and box) install a propane Extend-A-Stay.  I've never used it.
I'm boondocking just outside of Yuma and it's COLD in the a.m. so I've been using my Wave 6 heater quite a bit.
I watched some YouTube videos  and since I didn't bring an external propane tank with me I'd go into Yuma with my tow car to buy one and soapy water spray to test for leaks.

It certainly looks like one. Here’s a photo of mine. They are installed on the high pressure side, before the regulator.

I don't have an extend-a-stay, but I've done some propane stuff.

The arrow in your picture is pointing to the extend-a-stay adapter.

The gold (brass) end of the hose attaches from the front.   The black end of the hose attaches to an external tank.

I would turn the valve off on the built-in tank while using the extend-a-stay.   I'm not sure what the directions say.

Yes, you have a full Extend-s Stay setup.
The hose threads into the fitting shown with an arrow, the other end is a standard propane tank fitting.
All you need is a portable 20-lb tank.
We have the same kit and had to use it two summers ago when we discovered propane was not available on the west side of
Olympic National Park.

The horizontal connector pointing toward you is where you connect the portable (auxiliary) tank when the main tank goes dry. That allows you to extend your stay before having to move the rig.
The vertical connector just above is used to fuel other devices, such as a camp stove, BBQ or lantern. Additional longer hose needed for this option.  ;)

A great big THANKS for all the helpful replies.   I haven't traveled for awhile and am kinda getting my MOJO back and acclimating to the "rhythm of the road."

I've never said it, but your help means a lot to me and for that I'm thankful...
