Re: kitchen sink replacement Reply #1 – August 14, 2025, 02:34:51 pm No suggestions on a source for a single sink, many have looked for years. The same goes for stainless steel sinks. The major problem is finding a sink that is shallow enough for the drain to work. Too deep a sink will result in one that doesn't drain. To lower the plumbing to accommodate a deep sink would be a monumental task in most floor plans.Let us know if you find something that works.Larry
Re: kitchen sink replacement Reply #2 – August 14, 2025, 07:01:36 pm We found one a few years ago at Bontragers Bontrager's Surplus – RV and Home Improvement Items. It is a surplus store just north of the Indiana border. They had a couple in stock at the time. I can't imagine there was a big demand for them. You can call them or.check their website.

Re: kitchen sink replacement Reply #4 – August 15, 2025, 12:18:39 am I used a single stainless 10 inch sink from Home Depot. Not much room for the drain and No room for a p trap but it is nice to have a big sinkJay
Re: kitchen sink replacement Reply #5 – August 15, 2025, 01:54:14 am Hi JayWay: There are other ways than a 'P' trap. RV Waterless P Trap Self Sealing to Prevent Foul Odors - RecPro. I'm not sure how well this would work. I have seen boating sinks that just had a drain on the side of the sink. (kind of a 'V' shape on the bottom back side of the sink.) Jor did have a picture of his kitchen sink with no 'P' traps. Maybe under the floor? Under kitchen sink plumbing RonB
Re: kitchen sink replacement Reply #6 – August 15, 2025, 10:30:00 am QuoteSomebody on here modified drains and installed a single tub sinkHere's a photo of my single tub sink. I never looked for a double tub. Maybe you'll have better luck than I in your search as I found it difficult to find a sink that would fit. This one took quite a bit of modification to get it in.QuoteJor did have a picture of his kitchen sink with no 'P' trapsRon is referring to one I used in another of our rigs. I was going to do the same in the LD but it would have made little difference so I went with the conventional p-trap.Here's a photo of the plumbing under the single tub. The p-trap is actually in the compartment below.jor 1 Likes
