Bleach and water? December 16, 2025, 02:47:34 pm Living in a humid climate I get what appears to be mold on my sealant. Same thing for the roof.I'm considering about a 10% bleach solution and a stiff brush. Is that what's recommended?

Folks I know that live in the humid PNW use a one to one ratio of laundry bleach to water, applied with a hudson sprayer.Let it sit a while before scrubbing and rinsing. You can also use a commercial cleaner made for this purpose. Reply #3 – December 20, 2025, 05:11:43 pm Hello Fellow Mildew-Fighter:I have used the following potion:1 part dish detergent (Dawn)10 parts bleach20 parts water----For a small area:1 Tbspn dish detergent (Dawn)1/2 cup bleach1 cup water----One can daub with a rag or put into a dedicated spray bottle to spray and scrub.Rinse generously with clean water.Whatever you use to tackle the mildew, algae or mold, be in a ventilated area, if not in the wide open.TinaPformerly of "Wild Thing" 2006 MBLD 2967 NELD 59 3 Likes
