Re: Help. Reply #1 – October 31, 2025, 02:21:29 pm Do the coach lights (in the living area) work? Turn the battery switch for the house batteries (if you have a battery switch) to the on position? It's impossible to troubleshoot something like this over the internet, but it seems like you have no 12v power at all in the coach. Suspect that someone turned something off or disconnected something and forgot to turn in back on. Rich 1 Likes
Re: Help. Reply #2 – October 31, 2025, 02:57:13 pm Sounds like your house batteries are dead. If you you have solar panels, perhaps your RV was indoors (with no sunlight to charge the batteries) during the engine change your batteries discharged. Also, during the engine replacement, the repair place may have not connected the battery isolator so maybe when you drove the rig, the batteries didn't charge from the truck alternator. Please post a follow up when you resolve this so others can learn from your difficulty. Good luck! 2 Likes
Re: Help. Reply #3 – October 31, 2025, 04:36:07 pm When the mechanic changed the engine, he may have disconected the coach battery for saferty reasons, not knowing how the coach is wired. What happens when the rig is conncted to shore powerand the converter turned on?Our Jasper replacement engine now has 25,000 trouble-free miles and doesn’t burn oil the way the original Factory engine and it’s “Ford Certtified” replacement did. Both previous engines failed due to poor engineering or rebuilding, complete junk, IMHO, (and my wallet is nodding in agreement)).Larry 2 Likes
