Powerstar alarm?
Does the Powerstar Inverter UPG400 have some sort of alarm? I have sporadically found the rig to be ringing from an unknown source. I start up the truck and it immediately stops. This is temporary as it will come back eventually. Today I dug around and it appears to be coming from the Powerstar inverter. I dont have any manual for that and I cant find anything online. Thoughts?

Many inverters have a low-voltage alarm. Have you checked the coach battery voltage?
Assuming the alarming inverter was the original modified sine wave inverter, failures were somewhat common. I would probably change to a pure sine wave inverter if this is the case.
Something like this would be a good replacement. It can be hardwired.

The coach battery was just replaced this year, so I did not check it. But I will.

Are you saying replace the original Powerstar inverter? Sure are a lot of wires connected there…. (he said warily)

Hi Chris;  Google came up with: Powerstar Inverter UPG400 - Google Search
That link shows a user manual is available here: an Adobe Acrobat file chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://www.mltinverters.com/documents/legacy_powerstar_manual.pdf
There really shouldn't be much connected to an inverter.  Direct (through a fuse or circuit breaker) connection to a suitable battery.  In this case USB charging outputs. Just unplug those for now.  110VAC outlets with things plugged in. Those also can be unplugged until you can locate what is wrong.
It may have a remote control panel, not at the actual inverter. On my (much newer) inverter, that can be unplugged also, and buttons on the body of the inverter can be used.  It says that it has multiple protections built in.  As Larry said, it may not like the voltage level of your battery bank. It will alarm to let you know about too low a voltage level at the battery.  I would focus on that first.    RonB

Since the alarm stops when the engine starts, and the alternator begins charging the battery, it is another indication of a low-voltage problem.
