To cover or not to cover
I have a friend who just sold his Class C. The new owner did not take the cover so my friend offers to sell it to me for a great price. The cover is a higher end cover and waterproof. I've heard covers can trap moisture. What are your thoughts?

I know some people don't like to cover their rig, BUT I have been covering our 2003 Lazy Daze during the  winter season since it was new.

We live in northern Ohio where winters can be nasty. My goal with the cover was to protect the roof and window seams from freezing rain and melting snow.. I make sure the roof is totally dry before putting on the cover. I have covered roof vents that I do leave slightly open. I also remove the radio antenna. I have never had a problem with the cover rubbing the paint. To summarize, I think the cover has helped preserve our rig in sometimes harsh conditions.

The cover should be water resistant and breathable.   You don't want something like a tarp that traps water.

Cover use seems to vary by region, and wind seems to be the main factor that determines if people keep covering. 

In the SouthEast, I use a cover most of the time when not traveling.   It's not windy enough to blow around and rub the paint.   Trees here drop stuff most months of the year.   It works for me.

It is a hassle to climb up on the roof and put the cover on.   Someday I won't care for that anymore.    In the mean time, the cover keeps sun and tree stuff off of the coach and I think it helps keep the coach cleaner and better looking.
