Amazon won't ship fuel pump to my area?!?
Getting ready to do a deep service on my Onan Generator including installing a new fuel pump. Found several on Amazon BUT when I attempted to buy one there was a warning that they would not ship to my address saying:
The item is a restricted product. Products sold on Amazon.com must comply with all laws and regulations and with Amazon policies.
I'm in California - that's probably why.

eBay sent one - no problem.   :)

Hi Bill; I've encountered a few problems in San Diego; I can't get Fast Cure 5200 because it pollutes the water that my boat is sitting in!  (never have owned a boat). I couldn't get alcohol in the big box stores 99.9%, not rubbing alcohol. Something about a volatile hydrocarbon.  I could buy paint thinner, acetone, gasoline and oil, and cleaning products. Amazon filled my order for anhydrous alcohol, but it had to come from Florida, so it took a few days. My 'fast cure' 3M 5200 came from Minnesota.  RonB

Amazon has restrictive regulations about products deemed by the State to be hazardous or cancer-causing.
I tried to buy a cheap generator fuel pump last year to carry as a spare.
Most fuel pumps were not deliverable; this one was and still appears to be deliverable.

The Onan replacement from eBay does not appear to have any restrictions.
