Extra Fan on 12 Volt Frig
The Dometic 12v is performing fine but I have noted that the little compressor gets pretty hot so I added an extra fan. I happen to be measuring the frig's energy usage now so maybe I'll even see a difference. The little guy is being put to the test with 100+ degrees down here.

Nice. I assume it’s blowing out through the vent.  Correct?    Does the compressor seem to be running not so hot now?

I am considering this. Would it be practical to have a switch like a thermal switch that activates at a certain temperature?

I was undecided on which way to mount it. I have it blowing toward the compressor now. The roof vent is closed off.

Yea, that would be ideal. I figured I have plenty of battery and these little fans draw a minuscule amount of current so why not. If I had one laying around I would have included it.

Wire it so the fan comes on whenever the compressor runs.
Does the condenser’s heat get blown outside or into the interior?
