New toilet flange is 0.14” taller and Sealand wobbles. Toilet recommendations??
I should’ve measured the flange height. It was my mistake to assume they were universal in that regard.

Sealand 510 had a specific flange it called for that was glue in and I opted to repair with a Oatey twist n set flange. The Dometic flange had a height of 2.75” and Oatey has a height of 2.89”. I tried shimming toilet with  plastic shims and it unfortunately doesn’t solve the issue entirely. I could make a base plate shim from a plastic cutting board as I’ve seen other folks do but I’d rather get a new toilet.

I wanted to ask if you folks had a toilet recommendation that can adapt to these residential flanges sold at Home Depot, and if any of those recommendations are lower profile?

Current seat height is 17.25” and anything smaller would make it easier for my wife to sit back on the toilet. The LD toilet platform makes seat height somewhere around 28”.

Priority #1 is reliability and maintainability. I want something that can sit on these taller flanges, and something that doesn’t use cheap components that cannot be serviced (Dometic 321 has this issue).

Priority #2 is low sea height for comfort.

Update: Local RV tech and I talked. The newer Dometic toilet don’t have this issue of requiring a specific style toilet flange. When you look at the parts diagram, the Sealand needs a specific flange, while Dometic does not include a flange on their diagram. Tech told me he installs these toilets on Home Depot flanges all the time without any issues and it uses a 2 bolt style. Specifically the Dometic 311 is the solution. Great reviews, maintainable, left side pedal to match, and 13.25” seat height. Problem resolved! Hope this helps the next guy looking for a toilet replacement.
