Anyone in the Houston area?
Anyone in the Houston, TX area and able to take a look at this rig for me?

For Sale: Fully Renovated 1994 Lazy Daze - Ready for Off-Grid Adventures!

I have been ISO my first LD for a while now for full-time living on the road and boondocking and this recent post caught my eye! I am located in New Orleans, so not too far of a drive, but am a novice when it comes to what to look for when checking out a rig and need the help of well seasoned RVers and LD enthusiasts alike. Wondering if anyone closer by would be able to view it for me and give me their honest opinions before I make a trip out there to potentially purchase.

I don’t have the budget for a formal RV inspector, (the price of the listing is already above my purchase budget but willing to compromise for a good rig!) so I am relying on the good faith of strangers and the vast knowledge of this LD community. I am a single female with no family to rely on and doing this all on my own just trying to make a better life for myself. Anyone willing to help, please let me know. It would be greatly appreciated.

I know this is your dream, but I am deeply concerned about an RV newbie stretching to buy a 31 year old RV and cannot afford a formal inspection.

Anyone buying such an old RV has to be extremely experienced on both coach and chassis maintenance, or have very deep pockets.

Thanks for the concern Dave, but I respectfully disagree. Life is about finding your joy and it’s all about the experience. And learning experiences are the most valuable. I’m very organized, smart, capable, determined, and independent. I have done my research and have the resources and am not afraid to get my hands dirty and learn “on the job” as I go. That’s how we all start out, isn’t it? And I might not have much money, but my dream is worth every penny to me.

Anyways, if anyone is available and willing to help me with checking out the RV, please let me know!

Thanks and much love 🫶
