Dry camping, generator runs but no 120V AC
I need some help please.  I’ve been dry camping for several days and 12V and solar is running fine.  Just now I started the generator in order to run the microwave and it started and ran fine.  While running the microwave I heard a pop and it stopped working.  Now all of the AC outlets, the air conditioner, microwave and house battery charger are dead.  I’ve flipped off/on all breakers in the power distribution box and checked the gfi breaker in there too.  No change whatsoever.  The 12V outlet, water pump and lights are all working.  What am I missing?  Thanks!

You may need to reset the generator. This video helped me when I had the same issue.

Thank you Deb, that’s exactly what it was.  I flipped the switch on the generator like the guy said and now everything is working.  I hope you are going to Morro Bay in March.  I’d love to meet you in person.  Thank you again 😁

While I’m at it, I thought I’d exercise the generator for an hour or so with the AC on.  Also… I took Larry Wade’s advice from a long ago post and tighten the connection screws in the power panel.  See Larry, we do pay attention 😁

Great John! I'm so glad it worked got you!

I won't be at Morro Bay but I do plan to spend the summer in the PNW, if you're up in that area. No more Texas summers for me. 😁

Sorry to miss you at Morro Bay.  I can relate to hot summers, I spent a good part of this one in Nevada and Arizona.  PNW sounds pretty good 😊

Late July in Washington was unusually  warm this year, even at Rainer.

Will be passing through the PNW again next spring on my way to Alaska.
