Fresh Water Drain Valve Location?
I can't seem to find the drain valve on my rig. We have a 1995 Ford 23-1/2RL unit. Found the other holding tanks easily, also found the fresh water tank inside under the sink area...just can't find a drain. Tank is 1/3 full and it is supposed to get to low 20's tomorrow night. Rig is parked at our home and is not currently occupied. Worst case I guess we can just leave cabinet doors open and set the furnace at the lowest setting.

If anyone knows where the drain is, I would sure appreciate it...Jeff

An 'RL'? Maybe you mean a TK, or 'twin-king', two couches in the rear, large side and rear windows? If so, the drain lever for the fresh water tank on my 2003 TK may be located in the same place, i.e., right in front of the rear duals at the aft end of the grey tank; the lever is flat, about 3" long, and is about 6-8" in.

I'll try to help but it's a shot in the dark.  We have a MB and the water tank is next to the sink on the driver's side.  There is basement compartment directly below the water and forward of the water tank.  Looking inside that compartment is  a drain pipe and a valve handle near the top of that compartment.  If all else fails, I'd look under the rig near and around the water tank for a 1/2" drain tube.  If you can't find it before it get really cold tonight, fill up the water tank, keep the kitchen cabinet door under the sink open, and the inside warm.  And make sure to drain the water heater if you haven't done so yet.

Joan...yep...found it right where you said it would be. It's draining, but extremely slowly. Probably hasn't been used before. Anyway, the RL is similar to yours but has a single sofa with 2 chairs opposite it. I believe the "RL" means rear lounge. I am draining the water heater as well. Thanks!
