Re: Useful gadget Reply #1 – July 28, 2018, 04:50:04 pm I worked with someone who had a digital clamp multimeter that would open up the circle and go around a 120v wire. He never got it to give him decent readings and since most wires are attached to something and nailed down at intervals (our LD is nailed down at intervals) it was very difficult to get it around the wires. After several months of trying it when wires were not connected (at outlets being worked on) he gave up and used the standard one with probes/aligator clios.It would be nice to hear other experiences.
