Title: Replacement Basement/Compartment Doors
Post by: Ed & Margee on January 07, 2026, 10:42:27 am
I was trying to help someone locate a replacement for a basement door. So I contacted Todd Miller who sent me the following information. Hopefully this is helpful to others.

“ No I do not have one but they are available. I can possibly get them one or direct them where to go. Guessing $250-$300”

That’s it from here.

I assume you're talking about outside compartment doors? The admins might want to change the title of this topic from "Replacement placement doors" to "Replacement compartment doors."

Hi Ed and Margee;  I found this old message from me to LDOF from 22 years ago:
    "Yahoo Message Number: 46006
Bumper and others...  ...I also bought a compartment door the same size as the LP gas door. I plan to put this door on the passenger side in the under skirt behind the rear wheel. A heat shield also above the exhaust pipe. I plan to use this compartment for wet and/or dirty things like tire chains or carpet "grass" door mat. I knew it was a good idea when I noticed that the 2005 model of my floor plan has that compartment! I forgot to ask Todd when they added that compartment to the 23 TKB. That was $50 for the door and frame, and $53 to have it painted.     Ron and Bluebelle a '99 TKB."
I'm actually getting ready to add this door now. It's been sitting in bubble wrap in the garage for all these years.  (on that proverbial to-do list).  I know that the prices have gone much higher.  The paint is unfaded, so will make the rest of the motorhome look a bit 'off' until it fades to match.   Good luck in your search.  RonB
