Title: Windows/ aluminum
Post by: mikeyacbo on December 15, 2025, 12:25:09 pm
Couple of questions, first is the aluminum glued down to the plywood?
Second does anyone know where to source windows? I have the sandwich double pane windows, but would
Love to install the double pane with air gap.
Thanks!!

I don't think the aluminum is glued down, but the sealant could make smooth removal an issue. As far as the windows, the sandwich construction is durable and will last the life of the rig, if not damaged. The dual-pane invariably get cloudy with time and that is permanent. Some here have had it occur in just a few years. If I had a choice, I would replace our fogged-up ones and give up the thermal and sound insulation for a clear view...

About this time last year, Todd had a couple of large OEM windows for sale.  Here’s a link to more information about how to reach Todd.

I found it best to email him rather than trying to call him.  Hope this helps.
