I’m inching towards replacing our lead acid batteries with lithium batteries which means I probably should replace our working HPV-22b controller. My preliminary measurements seem to indicate that the Blue Sky controller will just barely cover the existing cutout. If I can mount it without any problems, that still leaves visible 4 screw holes. So I’m thinking I should make some kind of bracket for the new controller which I can mount in the existing holes.
So I’m hopeful someone has already figured out a mounting solution for the new controller. 🤞
Following as I’m considering the same!
Note that your HPV-22b will work with the LFP batteries, since the battery BMS circuitry will cut off charging when they are fully charged from solar. Switching later to a mppt controller will improve solar performance.

A month ago, we discussed upgrading the HPV-22b to the Blue Sky 3000i.

It requires a small modification to the controller's opening and the use of a spacer plate.
