I need to replace my front tires.
Currently I'm running
Hankook DaynaPro HT LT225/75 R16s
Can I replace these with
Hankook DaynaPro HT P225/75R16 104T BSWs
THANKS
I am not a tire expert. BUT I think your proposed tire choice of the P225/75R16 is not rated to carry the heavy payload and tire pressure your rig needs. The LT designation on the tires you currently use designate Light Truck usage and can handle the higher tire pressure you are probably using on your 31 foot rig.
Why are you considering the lower weight rated tire?

Load range important to make sure your tires are designed to carry the weight. I'm pretty sure your rig calls for LR E

Definitely need a Load Range E, the Hankook DaynaPro HT P225/75R16 104T BSWs are for a light vehicle, such as a pickup.
A good tire shop would refuse to install tires that are not rated for the weight of the LD.

As a buyer, I'd rather have the seller say - yeah, I know the front tires will need to be replaced soon. Here is $450 off and you can choose what you're comfortable with.
Otherwise, buyer could notice the tires and figure they are paying (a) for a pair of tires they don't want AND (b) to get new tires.
A RV inspector should notice an issue like the wrong load range the vast majority of the time.
Replace them right, or acknowledge the issue and negotiate. A poor solution helps no one.

You are exposing yourself to legal liability by installing the wrong load range tire, and do you really want someone to experience a blowout and possibly be injured or killed?
Install the correct tires and be done with it. Nothing is cheap about RVing.

Buying the wrong tires and then buying tires a 2nd time will be more expensive in the long term. Selling it with the wrong tires would be cheating in my opinion.
If I was a potential buyer and I saw someone trying to cut corners like that, it would raise a lot of questions about what else they were hiding....do the right thing or nothing at all.
A quick google search shows the price difference between the HT & LT is around $75-80, or $150-160 for two (plus tax and installation). Around here, an extra large pizza is running about $50, so you are looking at 3 pizzas in price difference. I understand this is prepping for sale. The other comment about 'if you're skimping on the tires, what else is skimped?' is a good one.
Not that this matters…but. About 7 years ago my brother who lives in Colorado purchased a class C in Arizona (about 1000 from home).
He called me while I was at work and was very excited. My first concern was tire safety. I had him send pics of all six tires. I wanted to see the DOT information as well as tread wear and possible crazing.
I was shocked. None of the tires matched. None had the same manufacturing date or manufacture. Only one was new but all were shiny from being sprayed with Armor All.
I was very concerned for his safety and advised against driving the rig home in its current condition. I told him that the dealership was being irresponsible and that they should replace the tires on the spot.
He didn’t listen to me and insisted that he would drive safely. He managed to make it back home. He eventually did have all the tires replaced with LT’s. If I had been with him on the trip, I would have found another way back home.

And what else was done with questionable quality or janky shortcuts...
When readily-verifiable things like tires are done "on the cheap", everything one can't easily see is brought into question.
