Hey guys, just had a question on the dinette on the mid baths. Is there anything underneath the seats or would it be possible to remove it and replace it with a desk.
Nothing installed by the factory is easy to remove from a LazyDaze. You can get it out, but it will be in parts and pieces. Lots of adhesive and fasteners.
If you're fine with that, the biggest challenge will be mismatched flooring types and wall coverings. You will need some creativity and craftsmanship to make it look original-ish. There are some generator bolts under the dinette carpet that you will have to deal with.
If you can look in person at a MB (I assume from the question that you haven't) you will see that the front dinette seat is storage space accessible from either under the seat cushion or from a door outside. The rear dinette seat is also storage space accessible from a cabinet door inside the coach.
The back of the rear dinette seat also serves as a wall to frame the entranceway. In my coach, it supports a grab handle.
None of this is impossible to overcome, but I wouldn't say it's 'easy'

Here are a couple of photos showing the bolts and the generator wiring box under the dinette.

Also note there are bolts under both benches for passenger seat belts. You'll lose a ton of storage space by removing the seat(s).
This situation calls for elevator bolts! If you want a desk in a midbath, it's a lot more practical to create one by removing the street-side couch and building a desk in its place. Several of us have done that, with very satisfactory results.
