Was prepping a meal tonight and noticed something on the front of my AC/heat pump.

Yeah, should clean it a bit more often.

Thanks Dave, sometimes a reminder about the simpler things does us all good. I remember replacing my air conditioner filters way in the past. I took them out and tried washing them. The water stream destroyed them as the foam disintegrated! I found a spare grate in my supplies from when I replaced them, dated in 2013! New filter elements are on order.
