Title: Installing a Double DIN head unit
Post by: tedeboy on July 12, 2025, 04:53:10 pm
I bought a doubled in unit from my friend.
The more I dig into it the more it seems difficult to install.

Has anyone been successful changing out the single deck that came with the 2021 to a double DIN?

A mobile stereo installer quoted me $525 to come out and put it in. 😮

I would start at Crutchfield...

I second that.  Good products, customer service and manuals.  Sometimes install kits are free.  Since you have the head unit, you might need to buy speakers or something to get support.   You can always ask them and see what they say.

Also, have you checked YouTube university?
