Title: Faux Tire Cover Trim
Post by: Ed & Margee on May 01, 2025, 12:07:25 am
Has anyone found a replacement for the black trim on the faux tire cover?   I asked Todd who said he doesn’t have a replacement part.  The original seal on our LD fits over the edge with an attached small additional bulb seal.  I think the secondary bulb is suppose to help keep water out.

At any rate thanks in advance.

The rear fake spare tire cover is not supposed to be watertight.
Edge molding, usually black, is a common item at bigger auto parts stores.
Amazon.com : door edge molding black (https://www.amazon.com/door-edge-molding-black-Automotive/s?k=door+edge+molding+black&rh=n%3A15684181)

THE TRIM-LOCK Greg found is what you want, it has the extra bulb you were refering to.
Amazon.com: Trim-Lok Trim Seal with Top Bulb – Fits 1/8” Edge, 3/8” Bulb... (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NL41AMO/ref=nosim?tag=scmcldo-20)]
