Title: Stove cleaning
Post by: colddog on May 17, 2024, 06:53:41 pm
And then after 10 years of cooking and whatnot, we opened the stove top ......

Update: yes it's been vacuumed and cleaned.    I can now re-use the spoon.   Been looking for it (the spoon) a long time.

I can now re-use the spoon.
But the salt is probably expired  ;)

In all my gas stoves, I like to line the bottom plate under the burners with aluminum foil, which makes periodic cleaning far easier to just pull it out and replace with a fresh liner.

"I like to line the bottom plate under the burners with aluminum foil,..."

In most food markets and home improvement centers you can purchase ready made cookie sheets of an appropriate size. You can then trace out the pattern of the burner locations and cut the circular openings where the burner heads will be exposed. Prepare more than one at a time so you have replacements on hand for the next time. Good rainy day activity!   ;D   ;)
