Title: How many?
Post by: T4halo on April 18, 2024, 08:26:04 am
Being built for over 50 years, does anyone have a guess at home many Lazy Daze rigs were produced?  200-225 per year?

Just wondering.

I have a habit of noting the serial number and production date of every LD I see.   Based on this, it looks like the factory produced around 2-3 per month for the last several years.

FWIW - I received mine on Feb 27, 2015 and the serial number is 5555.  If others add theirs to the list we can interpolate from that and build an informal database to help answer the question.

I just now noticed another current thread:  Serial # tag (http://www.lazydazeowners.com/index.php?topic=39411.new;topicseen#new)

Based on the production date and serial of a 2019 model mentioned, they averaged 2.02 units per month over 47 months.
