Title: Carpeting Compartments and Drawers
Post by: jor on March 17, 2024, 07:00:57 pm
Just finished a neat little project. This one would a good one for the Home Depot parking lot for sure! Anyhow, I've used this inexpensive carpeting (carpet (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Foss-Unbound-Smoke-Gray-Ribbed-6-ft-x-8-ft-Indoor-Outdoor-Area-Rug-CP45N41PJ1VH/202800194)) and this adhesive (adhesive (https://www.homedepot.com/p/3M-13-8-oz-Super-77-Multipurpose-Spray-Adhesive-77-DSC/316334789)) several times in other rigs. I just leave the overhead compartment floor pieces loose for easy access to the wiring. Nice little upgrade.

Used the same Home Depot carpet (rugs) as a liner for a custom 11’ table topper I built out of plywood for my stepson’s dining room table this past Thanksgiving, worked out really well, hadn’t thought about using it as a liner in the RV as well.

Brave of you to “carpet” a space with plumbing passing through.
