Awhile back I removed the carpet from the doghouse and insulated the interior with some reflective sound insulation. Worked well with that 6.8 purring along quietly. However, down low on each side I could feel the doghouse getting warm - not really hot but pretty warm. Anyhow, I added some good heat insulation to the sides. Should do the trick. I'll post results if we ever get out of here to go on a trip (waiting for new A/C to arrive)!
Here's the stuff I used: (heat insulation (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZQPC43B?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details))
