Title: Hidden circuit breaker location
Post by: chip on May 21, 2023, 04:19:00 pm
I am trying to locate the hidden circuit breaker(s) on my 2022 MB.  My 2005 RK had two small inline circuit breakers under the driver side closet and were accessed by removing the drawers.  I believe Vince with the Mothership helped me locate these many years ago.  The 2005 would occasionally trip a breaker and once I learned the location the remedy was easy.
I'm not having an electrical problem, but want to learn the location before I do.  I've removed the drawer from under the frig and the panel under the sink to access the rear of power center and have not yet located an inline breaker in either of these spaces.  I'm hoping someone can please guide me to exact location and tell me if there is one or two breakers.  Thank you, Chip

I know you pulled that drawer under the frig but It's easy to miss it. Here's a couple photos of mine.

Like Muhammad said, check in the back of the battery box.  I have a 2021 RB and there are two on the back wall of the battery box behind the batteries.

Thank you very much for the Group's help.  It looks like that on later models LD moved the MB hidden circuit breaker from under the frig to the battery box.  I found a circuit breaker and two fuses mounted inside the battery box above the battery.

For the record, the fuse/breaker configuration in our 2019 MB is the same as that pictured above.

Same for our 2017.

I discovered that the LazyDaze owners manual diagram #5 had not been updated for my 2016 MB. The parallax 8375 can charge at 75 amps, so LD upsized the ground and power wires to a #4 size to handle the amps.
Also the “hidden” cb is now in the battery compartment and also upgraded to a 90 amp.
To my diagram, I also added the 150 amp breaker that feeds the generator starter, also in the batt compartment.
There also is a 150 amp breaker next to the chassis (ford) battery that feeds the DC power contactor (over on the left side in the engine compartment) which gets energized with the engine running.

Not a one of you checked The Companion for the location of the hidden breaker. It's in a different location for every floor plan.
