Title: Grip tape
Post by: Matt Jones on May 08, 2023, 04:24:38 pm
Hello all,

The grip tape at the driver side and passenger side cab step has disintegrated. Any suggestions on the where and what material to purchase as a replacement. Is this a lazy daze apart?

Thanks,

Matt

I got replacements from todd. Here's my post: Non-Skid (https://www.lazydazeowners.com/index.php?topic=38688.msg249884#msg249884)

While wide rolls of anti-skid tape are available online,  the die-cut Factory step covers are a much better choice, if still available.

You can always go to a local skateboard shop, I put mine on about 3 years ago, and still works.

See the pinned thread at the top of this forum.

Todd (an ex-LD employee) took on the role of selling parts once the factory closed.  I've ordered from him twice and had good experiences.  Email seems to be the most reliable way to contact him.

If your rig still has the original bath skylight, the newer version is a huge upgrade.  It's expensive, but those might be very hard to find at some point in the future.
