Title: Propane Tubing Inspection
Post by: HiLola on April 22, 2023, 02:35:14 pm
Doing some annual maintenance/ inspections and today is my “under the rig” day.  One of the items is tracing out the propane lines under the coach so that I can perform a leak check on any mechanical joints discovered.  So far I’ve only found two elbows, both on the drivers side;  one near the black water tank and the other near the fuel tank.  Anyone know of any other ones that I may have missed? This is a 2017 MB.

Update, found a third elbow, just forward of the rear passenger side tires.  :)

A good way to check for leaks is to use a manometer connected to the regulator.
It's also a good way of checking the propane regulator pressure. It should be 11 inch/H2O.
Anyone test their gas pressure? (https://www.lazydazeowners.com/index.php?topic=32377.msg193769#msg193769)

Larry, would this be like a leakdown test?
What’s an acceptable leakdown(if any)?
