Hi, I need advice on how to remove the barometer, and access the system monitors in the panel above the stove. Also, any suggestions on entry door lock replacements for "vintage" (1998) Bargman 10-30-051. Of course, obsolete. Thank you!
Hello and welcome to this LD Neighborhood. I think you’ll find it’s a fine place to hangout and get help on all manner of LD’s odds and ends.
While I can’t help you with your questions, someone will no doubt offer some guidance fairly soon.
Thank you! I bet I will ask many questions in the future!
MARGAPPY-
On my 1997-8 mid-bath, the barometer removal process was:
1) slide the entire barometer panel up.
2) Tip the bottom of the panel out of the hole
3) Slide the panel back down to remove it

Hi Margappy; Welcome to the FOLD. (Fellowship Of Lazy Dazers) The answer to your first question is really easy. Before 2000 when the display of tank levels and such moved into the vent hood, all you have to do is slide the temperature display, and tank gauge readouts up. The arrangement looks like a picture frame on the wall, and it does rely on gravity to remain in place. If it has been unmoved for the last 24 years, it may be hard to dislodge. It is anchored at the top by picture frame mounts. Similar to these: 12pcs Flush Mount Bracket, 45x20mm Interlocking Picture Frame Hook, Stainless... Slide the entire frame up about an inch, and it will come loose. There is a large bundle of wires in the back with a white Molex connector to disconnect it. Placed correctly it slides back down to re-mount it.
Use the search feature to ask about the door lock, but just recently there has been a thread about this subject.
Electronic Entry Door Lock (https://www.lazydazeowners.com/index.php?topic=38397.msg247340#msg247340) Reply #6. Ignore the part about compartment door locks. What is wrong with your door lock? some problems can be fixed with just a set of common springs. I fixed an inside locking problem by filing down an interior part for more clearance. RonB
Thank you RonB and Mark! I was able to remove the barometer panel and slap in a 2" clock instead. I never would have thought of pushing on it. Actually, pretty clever.
