Title: Paint codes
Post by: 503greg on November 26, 2022, 09:12:25 pm
I recently bought a 1993 LazyDaze 23 ft. and I am in need of the paint codes for the two tone blue and white. I am needing to touch up some spots.
                   Thanks

Check the driver’s side door for the codes:

It’s odd that the above information about the paint codes on the door isn’t mentioned in the Lazy Daze Companion under Paint.

You'll be best off getting a paint store to match the paint you have on the rig.  29 year old paint will have faded and oxidized so much that the original paint won't match any more.

A forum search will provide old Cardinal paint codes but no automotive paint shop will be able to match the obsolete numbers.
In the various repairs made through the decades, I have removed exterior cargo bin covers and taken them to an automotive paint shop for custom matching. The Factory paint is a two-part polyurethane that can be packaged in a two-part spray can.

Todd can provide newer paint codes. Our blue 2003 LD's codes are:
Light Blue. 892447EX
Dark Blue. 892448EX
Armacoat
888-875-9255

Here is a recent paint thread.
