We have 2 relatively heavy and cumbersome outdoor chairs that travel in the backseat of our Subaru. Frankly, they take up too much real estate. When our trip includes visits to the beach, we carry 2 more small “beach chairs” that don’t sink into the sand. We can carry the beach chairs like a backpack which is helpful. BUT, those chairs take up more space in the back of the Subaru. Finally, Margee’s chair needs to elevate her feet to help reduce her leg pain.
We like to find 2 foldable chairs to replace our 4 space stealing, cumbersome and space stealing chairs. Does anyone in LD Land have a suggestion? I can tell you we’d be grateful for any guidance.
Ed,
Jane and Scott had two camp chairs with built in ottomans similar to this offering on Amazon.
Amazon.com: Rio Gear 4-Position Ottoman Lounge Extra Wide Camping Chair -... (https://a.co/d/jcKFoKg)
Or perhaps this one.
Amazon.com : OUTDOOR LIVING SUNTIME Camping Folding Portable Mesh Chair with... (https://a.co/d/fe0fmzu)
There are several such chairs available. Look pretty comfortable. And easily packed for travel.
Kent
The second one Kent mentions is 7 pounds lighter, if that makes a difference.

Weight certainly makes a difference when we're hiking any distance to the beach or lake front ... along with "other stuff."
