Title: THE Lazy Daze Companion/ Thank you Andy Baird
Post by: spartan11 on July 01, 2022, 05:13:24 pm
So once again saved.  I have found my topic "Bumper" on The Lazy Daze Companion. My front bumper is very washed out in color and several clean up methods have not worked.  I found Andy Baird's very well written instruction on painting a bumper in the Lazy Daze Companion.
I now have to figure out if I can repair a crack in the rubber as well.

Thank you AB,

Mar

a few months ago, I painted our front bumper's plastic insert using SEM products, usually found in auto paint stores or online.

SEM plastic bumper repair epoxy
SEM Mini-Max Bumper Repair 1 oz Plastic Cartridge 68422 (https://www.eastwood.com/sem-mini-max-bumper-repair-1-oz-plastic-cartridge-68422.html)

SEM Bumper Coater-Dark Grey  39139    This matched our bumper's original color and did not need to be undercoated.
Amazon.com: SEM 39193 Dark Gray Bumper Coater Aerosol - 12 oz. : Automotive (https://www.amazon.com/SEM-39193-Bumper-Coater-Aerosol/dp/B000PKX138)
