Title: Roof Reseal Frequency
Post by: tedeboy on April 18, 2022, 11:41:14 am
Our 2021 was actually built in the Spring of 2020.

I'm just curious about how many years before a roof reseal is needed on a rig stored outside in a coastal San Diego type weather area?

I resealed our 1995 TK right after purchase with Eternabond tape so I don't really know reseal frequency. I think I read 10 years?

The answer will be excellent knowledge! I look forward to responses from the LD experts.

I think I recall the expert consensus to be after 5 and before 10 years. I did our side seams after 5 years with Eternabond. I check the side seams and around all of the vents every year. What I did NOT check were the hairline cracks in end caps.
