I have had a Wave 3 heater for 20 years. First used it in my 4x4 van, when I sold that and got the Lazy Daze I transferred it over.
About 3 months ago, the piezo lighter button broke. I could still use it but the button doesn't return back.
The other day the valve used to start it and then put on low or high stopped working on the initial lighting. Looked at it a little but didn't spend much time on it.
Broke down and went to Camping World in Tucson who had one in stock. They now sell for $320. They try and sucker you into joining Good Sam by offering a discount. And then explain that the membership fee is less than the discount, making you believe it's a good thing.
Don't fall for it, I have in the past and been miserable trying to get them to leave me alone.
Anyway, my buddy said he would look at the old one and he did.
He fixed the valve issue and asked if I wanted it back to return the new one.
I told him no, that I wanted the new one in hopes that it will last 20 years and be in my next RV.

My Wave 3 had a faulty switch igniter button that wouldn't create a spark. Called up the manufacturer and they sent me a replacement free of charge. Always worth calling before you spend money.

Did you mount/install your wave3 or do you just set it on the floor?

I have mine on brackets that make it nice on the floor. Angled up a bit.
I have it plumbed into the propane line and on a 10 ft. hose with a quick connect.
That way I can move it around a bit depending on where I want heat.

I used the same setup in my 30' for my Wave 6. Nice to be able to move it about.
