Title: Generator maintenance with no batteries

2008 MB winterized and put in storage (away from home), new batteries on trickle chargers in garage, how can I do my monthly generator run? Pretty new to this all advice much appreciated!

Hi KMK20;  You don't say where your MB is located, but if it is cold enough, you should just let the generator sit until springtime.   RonB

Have you put stabilizer (Sta-Bil) in the tank and run the generator before you stored it? That should keep the carb from gumming up. If not, I recommend you pop the batteries back in to do this - a pain, but better than the expense of a new carb and service call...

Thank you, Steve. That was not done, but I will certainly look into it!
