Title: Captains Chairs
Post by: Wingersky on November 13, 2021, 09:43:02 pm
During our RV search, my wife and I have discovered some SOBs have very uncomfortable captain's chairs. Unfortunately, I have lower back issues. I have read a few articles about owners changing their captain's chairs for more comfortable ones. Any thoughts on the LD chairs? Thank you for any input.

i got upgraded chairs and my back does not complain too much but we try to stay at least 3-4 days each spot to rest and do not target more then 150 miles on driving days .... i do take lead in driving but it is not unusual to switch side before we reach destination.

i thought back will be a major issue but for so far so good with our style of traveling.

i see that you are in the list ... i herd getting new E450 chassis is a bottleneck, correct?

In my last email exchange with Todd in July, he specifically said availability of Ford chassis was indeed the bottleneck.

As another longtime lower back pain sufferer, I have found engaging the heated seat option on my Ford Fusion helps considerably if I’m going to be driving for any significant amount of time.   I plan to have a heated seat installed on my TK, assuming I ever get the call.
