I bought two rolls of Eternabond 6” width tape about 1.5 years ago expecting that I would redo my roof and haven’t gotten around to it until now. It’s been kept inside, shrink wrapped, dry and cool for all of that time.
My question is whether there is a shelf life and if I should just cut my losses and buy some new stuff.
I have a small roll left from over 15 years ago when I did my roof. I pull a piece from it every so often to recover my solar panel brackets. It seems to hold up well after all this time.
5 years.

The "pre-activated" shelf life of EternaBond®, stored correctly, is 5 years!
If you want more specifics, I think the company is responsive.
