I am new to towing a vehicle. Should the LD always be in tow haul mode when towing?

Absolutely! It’s easier on the transmission and engine.

I use it all the time now. I use to think that I would get better gas mileage by not using except when coming down a mountain, but I see no difference in gas mileage whether I use it or not.
