While driving the rig around today for its regular exercise, we spotted this very early Daze in a neighborhood immediately adjacent to LAX’s northern boundary. I didn’t think it was a LD (paint scheme) until I saw the logo on the front. It looked really short!
Wow one of the very first! Wonder what year that was

Tried reading the black plate year but can't get to it.

It looks a '65 to me.

This picture (from the companion click here) (https://lazydazearticles.blogspot.com/p/history-of-lazy-daze_17.html) looks a lot like the one in the first post.
Hi Bill (Krmugn); I was going to say 1965 also. The license plate in front, black with yellow letters, looks pretty much original also. Yes I'm old enough to have had a drivers license back then. It doesn't look as good as the one on display at the factory, but still good at 56 years old. I think that's not dual wheels in the back.. RonB
