I was able to find great info on the possible 'proper' ways to reseal the side windows, but am trying to mine a Lazy fix. I just bought a 1992 LD rear bath and I'm guessing the previous owner didn't do any window seal maintenance in the past 10 years. I haven't seen any leaking, nor has it rained in Reno in the past 2 months since we purchased the camper. I'm looking for a quick fix in case we hit rain. Something like a caulk that is somewhat easily removed when I have the time to reseal the windows properly.
Also, any advice on determining if a window should be resealed, short of witnessing a leak?

A 1992 LD should have had its windows resealed more than once.
Don't bother with temporary fixes, do it right or don't do it at all, buy a blue tarp until you have the time to do it right.
Reno should be dry until the late fall, even if it rains, it will dry quickly.

Fair enough Larry. Do you know what type/size D-gaskets tubing I should use for the sealing?
Maybe you could point me in the direction of your window resealing posts? I'm either clunky with the forum or just couldn't find it.

I was refering to resealing the window from to the body, the place where most window leaks occur.

Hi Andrew! I'm in Reno too and just purchased a 1987 22' LD. I too will have to do my windows in the near future. I'd be willing to assist you (even though I've never done it before). I want to learn as much as I can about these.
