Title: Kitchen faucet replacement info request
Post by: Jules on May 27, 2021, 11:46:14 am

Our ‘06 31 foot kitchen faucet has sprung a fatal leak. I have searched the instruction manual and cannot find the model or model number or any information about it.
Can anyone give me some advice on what to replace it with? I would like to replicate what I currently have.
Thank you in advance.

When my kitchen faucet went south here's what I replaced it with:

Amazon.com: Dura Faucet DF-NMK861-SN RV Hi-Rise Pull-Out Kitchen Sink Faucet... (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HYIBFYG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

You may also want a corresponding base plate. Here's the one I used:

Laguna Brass 1920SS 10" Kitchen Sink Faucet Deck Plate, Stainless Steel... (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MU4F3TM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

A nice thing about this faucet is that it can be mounted with the handle (operating lever) on the right or on the left. I originally went right but after a bit of use I realized, because of the sink configuration it was better with the handle on the left.

I’m a little more budget conscious and bought a less expensive RV faucet, (half the price) but similar from Amazon.  I don’t know what your under sink connections are and that matters.

So the faucet needs to be RV specific and a typically big box store one wouldn't be a drop in replacement?

I just purchased regular faucets I liked for the kitchen and bathroom sinks.

I also purchased a faucet from Lowes but it ended up required 3/8 to 1/2 adaptors. The most difficult thing to do was the removal of the faucet from the sink base. For my 2004 MB it was almost a completely blind operation. Flashlight, mirror, and patients were critical for this endeavor.
