Title: Fantastic Fuse
Post by: HiLola on April 21, 2021, 05:57:08 pm
Looking to pick up some fuses for the Fantastic Fans as spares.  Is this the correct type?

With a magnifying glass, you can read the fuse’s specification, imprinted on one of its two metal ends.
It should be around 4-amps but you still need to know the fuse’s length.
The Fan’s owners manual may have a parts list with the fuse’s type.

It also helps to have good light and to hold the fuse at the 'proper' angle to see the specs etched into the fuse end. It also helps not to drop the thing while one is scrutinizing the end!  ;)

I just pulled the one from my Fan-Tastic fan in my 2019 Airstream, and it's a 4 A fast blow. I'd expect either type should work, but a slow blow fuse would be less likely to blow unnecessarily.
